OneDream Course Preparation

We are looking forward to being together for OneDream Weekend 3! This page is full of information to guide you as we gather for Weekend 3.

What to Bring

Backjack Chairs and Body Pillows

You each have a backjack chair and body pillow for the course. Please remember to bring both to each OneDream Weekend. We recommend for out of town students that you coordinate as a tribe to have a local OneDreamer store the backjack and body pillow in between weekends.

Homework

See email sent from Apolonia on 4/15/13. Please have your homework in by Wednesday 4/17/13 at 11 AM EST.

Journal

You will want to have a dedicated journal for your OneDream weekends and experience. Please bring a journal and pen to each OneDream Weekend.

Frequencies

Contact leila@sohaonline.org to make arrangements prior to the weekend to download any generic frequencies that you may want for the weekend. Bring your Audiology CDs, and CD player or create a playlist on your iPod.

Other Items to Bring

Bottle for water with a lid (for the student area, please no bottles in the course room)
Blanket
Flashlight (For your walks to cabins in the evening)

Yahoo Group

Continue to use the Yahoo Group as part of your OneDream experience, this is our primary means of communication. If you have questions about yahoo groups, please contact leila@sohaonline.org or eama@sohaonline.org.

Room and Board for the weekend is $285. If you have not already, please email soha@sohaonline.org to confirm your preferred method of payment by Wednesday, Apr 17th.

Carpooling

Ride to Twin Rivers with at least 2 other people - communicate via the Yahoo group to ensure all have settled in their travel plans and are taken care of. A majority of your course mates are from out of state - continue checking on each other to ensure everyone is together. SoHA is a meeting/launch point for carpools.

See below for directions to Twin Rivers.

Clothing

Dress respectfully for the sacred and introspection during OneDream, bring layers so you stay comfortable.

Twin Rivers is a retreat where we will walk to and from our cabins and the course room, bring comfortable shoes. You may want to bring socks to wear in course room, as we will be removing our shoes during the course.

Energies

Additionally when considering attire for the weekend, please avoid shorts, tight pants, short skirts and low-cut tops. This is for your basic comfort, and it is also because this is an advanced course - please dress for a mature, introspective weekend.

Food

We will begin Thursday night at 6:45 with a dinner for everyone at the Course Room.

Breakfasts

Breakfasts - There will be light breakfast (bagels, coffee, creamer, and fruit) delivered to your cabins on Thursday. Please plan with your cabin mates if there are special items you would like to have in the mornings (cereals, special creamers, etc.).

Shopping

Please pick up any supplies before arriving for the weekend :-) You may find it easiest to shop at a familiar store in Atlanta before traveling, both Publix and Whole Foods are close to SoHA. You will also pass through the small town of Cleveland (if you travel GA 400) on your way to Twin Rivers.

Lunch and Dinner

Lunches and Dinners - served near the course room. All allergen information has been taken into account.
